As everyone will smell a scent differently, to have two minds, noses and opinions in the creative process means the scents have to work on more than one level. Now for the look. Màzo Candles are a piece of interior design in their own right. The unmistakable design of the cubed glass and fine metal cradle, synergises with the natural beauty of the wax glow. Multi wicking allows the candle to burn hotter and ensure the wax melts edge to edge.
When the natural wax behaves, well, naturally, this should be seen. The creams and translucent yellows of the solid and liquid, the crazing of the surface as the candle cools. Màzo can’t take credit for this organic dance, but we can make sure you don’t miss it!
Last but by no means least, the candle gift box. This bespoke shoulder-box design protects the candle, minimising movement with the feet slotting into the base structure. The Màzo colour palette is described by the sisters as ‘dusty tones’ with foiled printing to give a little teaser of what’s inside. The shoulder-box design is a key element to the gift box. As the lid is raised to gradually reveal the Màzo Candle, the theatre of this moment adds to the anticipation.
